Capturing those irreplaceable and spontaneous moments in someone's life on camera is both a joy and a challenge. One that has become a life long passion for Lucy.  In 1976 at the age of 13 she began her photographic career, armed with an old Russian Zenith bound in its heavy leather case. The Zenith and her went everywhere together - she was hooked.
Lucy saw the world in photographic form, spending hours developing her prints in the dark room at school and marvelling each time at the magic of the image appearing on the paper. At the age of 17 she had her first commission photographing children at a private school in London.  Lucy is naturally a 'people' person and has a background in social anthropology, international development and human resources.  She has been lucky enough to have travelled extensively around the globe.
In her role as photographer for The Kensington Magazine she has had the privilege of photographing members of Royalty, Government, VIP's and Celebrities.  In 2013 she was invited to join the Royal Party ('Rota') for the visit of HRH Duchess of Cornwall at Founders Day held at Royal Hospital Road and in January 2015 for the visit of HRH Duchess of Cambridge at the Kensington Aldridge Academy and Kensington Leisure Centre.  In 2014 she had the privilege of photographing a children's sleepover at Kensington Palace.  She is available to shoot on location, be it on a family holiday where you wish special moments to be captured with no fuss or in your own home / any other venue of special interest to you.
Lucy has held three exhibition in Kensington and is currently preparing an art/photographic coffee table book on Beared Iris - due to be published this December.  She is a volunteer photographer for Friends of Opera Holland Park and is a Member of the Royal Photographic Society.
